A Random Post
i always thank god I have a good bunch of friends.. like hds, lizy, ying, ter.. i have always forgotten to thank some imp people in my life.
They're Coco, Ice, Swee Yee and Li Ching.
Was out with Coco, Ice, Lina and Swee Yee @ bugis today. Was really relaxed with em as they knew exactly what i am up to, my recent job updates n blahz..far more than my hds.. I dun deny that I was a little upset that i didn get a part time equity research job, n they never fail to comfort me. e truth is I lost to a student again, I dunno what is freaking wrong and the same thing happens, m overqualified. I dun even have a good degree in e first place.. so i dunno wad e freaking hell is wrong for em to choose a SIM student than me who is a grad, with some investment knowlege. WTH, i couldnt think of anything tht he is better than me other than he is a STUDENT who is supposedly to be able to fit into a parttime position morethan me. I knew this is goin to happen to me in e interview.. sheash. so i was just a little upset, but ice n swee yee were really comforting. Yee helped me alot for my job interviews, he's a really great guy n m really grateful to him.
Meanwhile, my sister did a great job too.. just wasnt in my perfect mood becoz i realli wont mind doin research part time(ok, m repeating).. just shit my luck but i love my sis to max, who called me from China to comfort me. My mommy was sweet too. Really, i think they're simply e best.
Now, i filter what i want to hear. I no longer want to hear 'good career advice' that makes me want to puke. I think i still have e ability to differentiate between good n bad and do my own decision.
